If you're really strapped for cash, your Plasma Cutter is effectively a superfluous sidearm at this point. Feel free to use these to max out your gear in the following order: Seeker Rifle > Ripper > Armor/Health > Plasma Cutter. Once you hit endgame you should be rolling in nodes and cash (again, barring any problems). Start spending your nodes on your Seeker Rifle, focusing on the Alt Fire damage boosts (you're going to be using it in Alt Fire mode most of the time anyways). Spend these extra points on improving your Suit's Health.īy the time you hit Chapter 7-8, barring any economic crisis on your part, you should have upgraded your Ripper enough that it can cut down anything that gets too close. By switching to the Vintage CEC suit, you get a 10% discount on purchased items which helps. If you've just picked up the latest armor, feel free to splurge on extra nodes. Remember to save money for armor upgrades. Store any Max-Health Kits you find for end game.Īs soon as you can, get the Ripper and the Seeker rifle.ĭump every free node you have into the Ripper's primary fire (ignore the secondary fire entirely). You get an achievement for it too.įirst, beef up your Plasma Cutter's damage. I hope this answers your question, and good luck! ( I'm starting zealot difficulty soon :D)įor DS1 a fully-upgraded Plasma Cutter can be achieved easily and quickly and as others here have mentioned, the only weapon you need to beat the game.
